Dear Lia,
Today is National Girlfriend Day! About a year and 4 months ago, we were spending every day together and staying up late, talking about anything and everything. I thought our relationship couldn’t possibly get any better, but every day, you continue to prove me wrong.
First, I asked you to be my girlfriend—executed perfectly and not awkward at all. Then, when we met up in Paris, I told you that I loved you, which was somehow executed even more perfectly.
Things were wonderful, but then we had to start doing long distance. Honestly, I was really scared. Everyone says that long distance doesn’t work, and we hadn’t even been dating for that long. But it honestly wasn’t as bad as I feared. Of course, I missed you, but I never doubted that we would make it work. I just kept loving you more and more.
And now, we’re going to move in together. I’m incredibly excited and I can’t wait for us to live alone! I’m so excited for another year of loving you—and for all the years that will come after it.
I love you the most. Happy National Girlfriend Day!
Love,
Andrei
